The Japanese yen recovered from its early losses against the other major currencies ahead of European session on Monday.
The yen rose to a 5-day high of 100.12 against the Australian dollar, from an early low of 100.82.
Moving away from an early 7-year low of 119.02 against the U.S. dollar, a 10-day low of 148.10 against the euro and a 5-day low of 185.95 against the pound, the yen recovered to 118.54, 147.50 and 185.29, respectively.
Against the Swiss franc, NZ and Canadian dollars, the yen edged up to 122.61, 92.64 and 103.72 from early lows of 123.06, 93.01 and 104.02, respectively.
If the yen extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 145.28 against the euro, 182.02 against the pound, 120.42 against the Swiss franc, 116.53 against the greenback, 98.50 against the aussie, 91.00 against the kiwi and 102.00 against the loonie.
