Following the release of German preliminary consumer confidence index for November at 8:00 am ET Thursday, the euro showed mixed trading against its major counterparts. While the euro changed little against the franc, it rose against the rest of major currencies.
The euro was trading at 1.2490 against the greenback, 146.79 against the yen, 0.7926 against the pound and 1.2023 against the franc around 8:04 am ET.
