When the EUR/USD will be able to left its range, is maybe the most asked question these days, with the pair stubbornly reluctant to advance despite trading above the 1.3700 level. With buyers waiting around 1.3680/1.3700 and sellers for now aligned at the 1.3770 area, the hourly chart shows price developing inside an ascendant triangle, stuck right in the middle ahead of Asian opening, and with technical studies still neutral. In the 4 hours chart a slightly bullish tone prevails, albeit a break of the top of the figure is required to confirm a new leg higher.
Support levels: 1.3720 1.3680 1.3650

The GBP/USD traded back and forth around the 23.6% retracement of its latest daily bullish run, ending with gains for second day in a row despite failing to hold above the 1.6700 mark. The hourly chart shows price struggling around a bullish 20 SMA, while indicators turn south approaching their midlines. In the 4 hours chart the upward potential is quite limited, as indicators barely hold above their midlines and price above a flat 20 SMA, suggesting not enough buying interest at the time being. The low of the US session was 1.6640, so risk to the downside will surge on a break lower, while 1.6745 is key resistance in case of advances.
