Pound Eases Against Most Majors

The pound retreated from its early highs against most major currencies in early European deals on Monday.

The pound, which climbed to a 4-day high of 1.5097 against the greenback, pared gains to 1.5038.

The pound pared gains to 176.78 against the yen and 0.7524 against the euro, from early highs of 177.71 and 0.7481, respectively.

The next possible support for the pound is seen around 1.48 against the greenback, 174.00 against the yen and 0.775 against the euro.
