Slovakia’s consumer confide dropped marginally in March, after rising in the previous month, survey figures from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic showed Monday.
The consumer confidence index fell to -8.6 in March from -8.3 in February. In January the score was -10.4.
At the same time, the economic sentiment worsened further in March, with the corresponding index falling to 101.1 from 101.7 in the prior month. It was the lowest score since June last year, when it marked 100.8.
Among sub-indices, the index reflecting the expectations on the financial situation of households dropped to -3.3 in March from -2.7 in the preceding month
Similarly, the index measuring expectations on the general economic situation of the country fell to -8.4 from -6.3.
