German Unemployment Falls Unexpectedly In October



German unemployment declined unexpectedly in October, data from Federal Labor Agency revealed Thursday.


The number of people out of work decreased by 22,000 to 2.88 million in October. Economists had forecast an increase of 4,000.


The adjusted jobless rate remained unchanged at 6.7 percent in October, in line with forecast.
