Lithuania’s economy grew at a slower pace in the first quarter of the year, latest figures from the Department of Statistics showed Friday.
Gross domestic product rose a seasonally-and-working day adjusted 3 percent year-on-year, following a 3.4 percent growth in the previous three months. The first quarter growth was initially estimated at 2.9 percent.
Sequentially, GDP rose 0.6 percent in the first quarter, after a 1.2 percent expansion in the final three months of 2013.
On an unadjusted basis, GDP increased 3.2 percent annually and shrunk 9.8 percent sequentially in the first quarter.
